We have recently discussed Cash controls in our course, and have identified that Internal controls are important in order to collect accurate and reliable information.  For this assignment, reflect on a job that you have done (past or present – part time or volunteer) and identify some of the internal controls that the workplace/organization had in place.

Submit a 1-2 page single spaced, 12 pt. font, written response to your reflection.  This submission should include a discussion of the 5 basic components of an effective internal control system, with detailed information about the Control Activities that were applied in the organization.

Do your best to respond to all areas, however, if you were unaware of some of the control components it is ok to state that – or provide an overview of what you think the company did.
