The chapter illustrated how interdisciplinary studies and interdisciplinarity are evolving greatly in academia. The chapter has defined all terms of interdisciplinary, studies and interdisciplinarity and gave the differences between the two and illustrated how they are different from multidisciplinarity and transdisciplinarity.
