I chose this text because it contains most pressing and emerging issues in the society. These are criminal activities, which blends well with the way actors depict several scenes of humor. The film is also interesting because its actors utilize guns as they execute robbery scenes. The film is also the best because it holds a reputation for having been nominated for the Oscar Awards and for receiving Palme d’Or award in 1994. In this text, I am going to analyze the role, the theme of crime, and its effects that are so rampant in the context of the setting of the film in the 20th century.
