You have been scheduled to attend five sessions for this module. To achieve success it is essential that, in addition, you carry out independent study for this module for approximately 3 hours per week in your own time. A critical part of studying for a degree is the ability to work independently and to consolidate your learning on a weekly basis. The assignment will enhance your skill base by developing your IT skills, research skills, time management, planning and organising, creativity and ability to stick to deadlines – all of which can be highlighted on a CV (and your Personal Development) and are valued by employers.
To help guide this part of your study you are required to submit an assignment which addresses the tasks below:
Identify a change that is required in your organisation or one that you know well.
Identify the key drivers for this change and explain the forces/factors that you have identified justifying the necessity to change.
Identify the possible barriers that may arise when implementing this change and devise a strategy to manage these barriers.
Explain how implementing this change may impact on the organisation.
The workshop sessions will provide input on the subject area and remind you what needs to be done to complete the assignment.
