Using TRIZ analysis for the case of the car, the decision-making process commences with highlighting the problem before proceeding to suggest the ideal strategy for solving the dilemma. After the suggestion, the manufacturers will make a decision that reflects the desired outcome using the TRIZ method. At the company, the suggestion is to manufacture cars using the light but durable materials such as aluminum.
At the media company, the same situation applies but the K-T method facilitates the generation of the solution to the problems. It begins with the description of the situation before shifting to explore the alternative solution to the use of the existing technology at the company. It concludes by recommending investment into cloud computing technology. The mentioned technologies in the proposals include the use of Dropbox, SugarSync, Microsoft’s SkyDrive, and Google Drive cloud of which the reading adopts the use of Microsoft’s SkyDrive at Chem-Daily newspaper. The expectation is that investment in the technology will eliminate the problems facing the organization that emanates from the infectivity of the existing technology at the firm.
