The objective of these reports is to provide the opportunity to think analytically about current business events and activities. Therefore, your report is a critical analysis of a WSJ article that should be analyzed by applying one or more of the five “bottom line” performance categories (Speed, Cost, Innovation, Quality, and Service).

 

In your analysis you should also consider other criteria such as Organizational Culture, External Environment, Ethics, Organizational Structure, Teamwork.

 

The report should be structured as follows.

  • Your class number. (no name)
  • Title, Source, Date.
  • State performance category or other

 

  • “Short” statement of the salient points …(10 grade points)

 

  • State if you agree/disagree with these points
  • State the “relevance” to you & your future        40 points

 

 

One page, single spaced; bold power words; 2 power words = 1 point with max of 2 points per article; personal class number only.
